Fynbos, ocean, rivers and forest riding at its best and most challenging.

Whether you start in town at Gansbaai Tourism office or at Lomond Wine estate in the Uijelnkraals Valley, you are assured of some of the finest mountain biking. There are trails ranging from easy and relatively flat, coastal rides to our famous or some may say infamous black route, which is not for the faint hearted and definitely not for the unfit

On all these rides, you will ride through, alongside or over pristine fynbos, climb beautiful mountains, experience unimaginable views and breathe clean crisp ocean air, sometimes described as champagne air. The vistas at the top of the climbs are reward in themselves and in places are 360 degrees of sea, farm dams, forest and fynbos valley views.

The trails include tricky single track, jeep tracks and some technical sections, steep climbs and fast descents. The coastal trails provide interesting ups and downs, and coastal fynbos riding and is fun for the entire family.

Combine some of these trails into an EPIC training ride giving you time in the saddle, climbing, some technical work and fast and tricky descents.
