On Thursday 6 July 2017, 22 personnel from the Cape Whale Coast Marketing and Tourism  team set off to Cape Town to attend the South African Tourism road show and to experience what the Mother City has to offer.

Setting off at 10 o’clock from #CapeWhaleCoast office in Hermanus with Cape Town as destination, stopping at the famous Peregrine Farm Stall – Grabouw for a delicious cup of Java.

So much beautiful scenery on the way –  Sir Lowry’s pass, Cape Town International, Table Mountain to only mention a few! Our first destination Tsogo Sun, hurry hurry to the South African Tourism Road show to get educated on the new venture #IdoTourism and #WeDoTourism. After a scrumptious lunch, hop on the bus and we are off to the famous V&A Waterfront.

A not to be missed attraction is the #TheWaterShed and the charming arena. After doing some site seeing at these two amazing places we had the privilege to do a #BehindTheScene tour at the Two Oceans Aquarium.

Off we go again, this time to the #MinistryOfEconomicOpportunities where we met up with #MinisterAlanWinde, browsed around and tasted the products on offer. Then we strolled the streets doing the First Thursdays Walk and what an experience this was – Cape Town vibe at night!

With our experience at an end we all boarded the bus, said our goodbyes to Cape Town and departed for Cape Whale Coast.
